Maple and Walnut Cutting Boards
For those who like the look of contrasting wood colors, we offer a Maple and Walnut blend. We offer 6 styles for these boards ranging from a small Lower MI to a Large U.P. For the Lower MI boards, a stripe of Walnut runs down the length of the state, from Traverse City to Kalamazoo. For the U.P. boards, the stripe runs west to east from Ironwood to Sault Ste. Marie. The maple is amber color with a deep brown Walnut stripe and will vary from board to board.
Each board is made to order, THERE IS A TWO WEEK LEAD TIME. Each cutting board comes with a care card and is packaged in shrink wrap for safe shipping.
The board has been seasoned with food grade mineral oil. OUR CUTTING BOARDS DO NOT HAVE LEGS ON THE BOTTOM. For cleaning we recommend wiping the board with a damp cloth, do not immerse in water. To add luster, occasionally coat with mineral oil and let dry.
